Many a people on the face of the Earth don't know what the Bible is and what it is for. Somebody may think it is a religious book. Unfortunately, some Christians also think so. After reading this blog, you’ll come to know what the Bible is and what kind of truths it can deliver to the world. Though, in the families of Christians, every one has one'sown bible plus (+) guest bible for kith and kin and we can read it as and when we want, we read it before going to office or before going to out station as news paper as we too treat the Bible as “Our religious sacred book”. That is why we are unable to understand the Bible as it is. In order to know the mind of the Lord, we have to understand the bible very well. God has revealed his secrets to His children in the form of Bible. Therefore, to understand the Bible, we should not ‘read’ it but examine the scriptures as the Bereans (Acts 17:11). Here the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians. Why? What is the main variation between the Bereans and the Thessalonians here? The Bereans examined the scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. However, the Thessalonians also had heard but not examined the scriptures. Hence, I want you who are sitting here to be of more noble character, I am taking seస స ion on “Formation of the Frame of a man”.
I want you to open your bible and look at the Genesis 2:7. Here, it is being said about man that he has been formed from the dust of the ground. If we think a little bit, the dust of the ground means surface of the Earth or upper layer of the Earth. Generally, we say man has been formed from the dust of the ground. Just think once, is it possible to form this shape, what we see, from the normal dust of the ground? Simply we can say ‘No’. Because here we can see what materiel we have been formed with but not where we have been formed. Therefore, if we can find where we have been formed, we can easily understand what materiel has been used to form us. Please look into the reference.
Psalms 139:15(b) “David was formed in the depths of the earth”.
Earlier, we thought we have been formed from the dust, which is within upper parts of the earth. Now we came to know that it was inner parts of the earth, where we have been actually formed. If we think scientifically, “What is in the lower parts of the earth?” if we keep digging the earth to the depth, we first find dust followed by rocks followed by clay followed by water etc.
Nevertheless, we know one thing the most of the elements are in the inner parts of the earth only. Can we say a particular element we lack in our body? We have all the elements. If we lack a particular element, we will be weak. For that, we should consult a doctor then he prescribes a few tablets, which contain the elements like iron, sodium chloride, zinc and etc that we lack. What else is there? If we keep digging the earth gradually, for every Kilometer we can observe 16°C will be increased. As per geography, heat at inner parts of earth is 7500 Kelvin, which is greater than the heat on surface of the sun (5800 K). But this has been already said in the Bible.
“The earth is transformed below as by fire.” Job 28:5
We have been made from clay such a way that it has that much heat. In order to describe our formation, Job says,
“You curdled me like cheese” Job 10:10(b).
If we understand how we prepare cheese with how much temperature, we can understand how we have been made in the depths of the earth. This is how God has molded us like clay as potter makes pots. In fact, the meaning of the verb ‘form’ is ‘to bring together parts to create something’. Likewise, before building a house, we bring dissimilar materials together like cement, rocks, iron, water, sand etc to build a house. For that we first construct pillars in which we put iron rods and concrete so that slab can cast on those pillars. Once slab gets stable we start building rooms as we like. We understood how God has formed us from the dust of the ground. Now, we should know which parts have been brought together to create us. Do we have the pillars? Do we have iron rods? Do we have cement pasted over it? Do we have rooms? If we think in such a way that we build a house, we will understand our structure as well. This is well explained wonderfully in our bible. Job 10:11 “You clothed me skin and flesh and knit me together with bones and sinews”
If anyone undergoes an operation, after stitching, the stains will never disappear until death. However, He has made a wonderful operation without any stains. Can any doctor do like this? No. Not only simply He covers everybody with skin and flesh but also He made everyone unique. Have ever found two identical thumb impressions of any two in thisworld? Not even twins’ impressions.
Job 37:7 “He seals up the hand of every man; that all men may know His work.”
That is why, to enter into the most secure rooms, thumb impressions will be scanned for authentication.
Job 10:11(b) “You joined me together with bones and sinews”.
We all know very well that we are able to stand due to these bones only i.e., pillars of our body are bones. That is why we say our main pillar is backbone. What else can we say about “Sinews”? ‘Sinew’ is a strong band of tissue in the body that joins a muscle to a bone. We cannot understand how body is formed. How these sinews are connected to one another?
“How the bones do grow in the womb of mother that is with child? So you cannot understand the work of God the maker of all things” Ecc 11:5
This is how God has designed or made us wonderfully. When we talk about wonders, we will say seven wonders in the world. But if we think over each part of the body, head to sole, everything is wonder. Isn’t it? After all this work, He breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. If there is no soul, there is no goal of making our body. Now If we read Genesis 2:7 again, we can understand
“God has formed man from the dust of the ground at depths of the earth and with skin and flesh and joined with bones and sinews”.
After observing His work towards creating our body, we must be thinking there must be a purpose behind this Great work. If we have a look at our watch, there is a lot of work inside it, we simply see and able to say/know the exact time including minutes and seconds. But we know behind the simply showing the time, there is complex structure running for every second and millisecond. What do we say about this? Do we say ‘Watch’ is great or ‘Maker’ is great? We definitely say MAKER. Don’t we? If we say Watchmaker is great, what about God? He is double great. Isn’t He? If we think so, for everything in the world there is a purpose. For Radio, TV, Computer, for every instrument whatever it could be, there is a purpose or reason. We can say each part of a watch has its own work. Minute’s needle has to show minutes, second’s needle has to show seconds and hours needle has to show hours. When there is a reason behind each part of an instrument made, there must be a reason behind each part of our body as well. If we are able to identify the reason, we can live for God fruitfully. While Paul was saying about our body, he was saying a reason for all parts of our body.
“Offer the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness.” -Romans 6:13
Here, he is saying offer to Him. However, the most of the people offer their body to their children or their wives, or their jobs. For this reason only, has God formed us? No, then how should we offer the parts as instruments of righteousness? How can we be righteous for God? We know the list of people who were righteous. These people lived for God and died for God. We know the two of outstanding people are David and Jesus who lived righteous for God. If we see about David,
“For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers” -Acts 13:36.
Although he was emperor, although he was married, he had never felt he was busy as we feel every day. On other hand, he had served his own generation by the will of God. Since he could know will of God and reason behind his birth on this earth, he was able to work for God that caused him to serve his own generation by the will of God. Likewise, he brought name, fame, and glory to God. We will also do service, which is by our own will. David was born. For whom? For God, he was born. We were also born, for whom? For God only. He had served his own generation by the will of God. But we have been on earth to serve our children, our family, our job, our company and our country, which is by our WILL. This is great difference between King of David and so-called Christians. That’s why God is witnessing about David,
“I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will” -Acts 13:22.
Can we get this kind of testimony, if God wants to say about us? Let us test ourselves in the light of scriptures.
The other person who has been known by everybody is Jesus Christ.
“I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do.”
-John17:4.
What is that WORK?
“And Jesus said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent” -Luk 4:43.
If He was sent to preach the kingdom of God, why were we sent to this earth with this beautiful and wonderful body? We have also been sent to preach the kingdom of God. How could he glorify Him on the earth? By his body, by finishing the work, which He has given to do. Here he is saying he finished the work completely. Then which work has been given to do to every Christian?
“Go into the entire world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” -Mark 16:15
People on the earth are leading their lefe without knowing the purpose behind it. One is committing suicide for having no job, one is for having debts and etc. No other tribe kills one another but mankind. One doesn't know why he is born on the earth and where deos he come from? where does he go back? People think visible things are permanent and invisible things do not exist. This is what we have to preach completely. This is how; we can glorify God and fulfill the will of God. If you are able to use all your parts of your body for Him as instruments of righteousness as Jesus did during his life, we are in a position to ask Him for Heaven, which we had with God before the world was, provided we finish the work which God has given us to do. John 17:5. Otherwise, on what reason, can we ask Him to give Heaven or eternal life? Do we have an evidence to tell Him? If we do not, we shall start doing the work. If we have, we shall inspire others to do as we were born on the earth. Let us finish our responsibility completely as we are children of God.
